
ABOUT ME
Megan is a composer, conductor and orhcestrator hailing from North Lincolnshire currently based in London. She started learning violin at the age of seven and later took up flute, piano and tuned percussion at secondary school, where she developed a taste for composition. She was a member of the North Lincolnshire Music Support Service from 2012-2019 in their youth String Orchestras and Concert Band, receiving their Music Centre award in both 2016 and 2019 (the latter pictured below). During her time at secondary school and sixth form, she was involved in many of the Vale Academy's music ensembles, such as their concert band, samba band and taiko team among others. She sang with vocal ensemble Blake in April 2018 and again in August of the same year at the Lincoln New Theatre Royal as part of the Vale Academy School Choir. She is currently in her third year as an undergraduate in Composition at the London College of Music, with original compositions in rehearsals with the College's Camerata. She recently achieved a DipLCM Conducting Diploma and is looking forward to completing her Licentiate Diploma in the summer term. She conducted a recording session in October 2021 at Abbey Road Studios, with great success.

She primarily writes for the concert platform but has recently collaborated with students from the METFilm School in London on short film projects ZAGON and Cookie. She is also working with composition and songwriting duo Archer & Redica on 'Driven- A New Song Cycle' in the role of Poet, Score Supervisor and Social Media Manager.
